30-Day Paleo Challenge starts Tuesday 100601! Who's in? All this week we will be doing benchmark workouts to see where we all stand prior to the challenge. We will then repeat the workouts following the challenge to gauge our improvement.
We will be closed Saturday 100529 and Monday 100531 for Memorial Day Weekend.

I am in or atleast i want to say I am in the Paleo challenge.
I don't really know too much on Paleo. Jason, would you or anyone be interested in giving a quick paleo intro class. Doesn't have to be a class...anything such as literature or links or class.
It's going to be hard for us for 1 week. The Olaldes will be in Texas the 2nd week of June.
Oh, and I LOVE running....More running with "Helen"! GREAT!!!!!

I'll try it. It'll be tough for the Olalde's as my brother mentioned. We will be in Texas the first and second week of June. I'll give it a try though.

If you go into the challenge saying that you'll give it a try, you probably will fail fairly quickly. There's always an excuse to fail - it's my kids birthday, it's the 4th of July weekend, I'll be at my parent's house, etc. You just have to suck it up and do it. You definitely have to plan ahead. Make Paleo snacks for a road trip, bake Paleo treats for a birthday party, pass on the beans and rice and just eat meat, avocado and all the homemade salsa you can handle!
Make sure you all are well hydrated before coming to the gym this week. It's supposed to be hot and humid all week. Bring water with you and a towel as well.
The girls made me look bad today. My plan was to go at 11a session, but the heat scared me. I noticed that the temperature starts going down and will be down by around 4 degrees at 6pm. haha...that's a huge difference :) So, I went to check out who went at 11a and noticed 4 girls there. They made it in this heat and I couldn't. It won't happen again :)

I also wore those shorts today. When you are a man, sometimes you wear stretchy pants in your room. It's for fun.
Im in for the diet. With the exception of Chico's Tacos.
Ok I'm in for the Paleo challenge. I will use my cheat day on either Chico's Tacos or my Dad's cooking, depending on what is more appetizing that day.
I will definately plan out my snacks for the road since we will be spending a lot of time on it. I'm thinking a boat load of beef jerky with some almonds.
