To get to know everyone here is anyone up for posting their Crossfit goals for 2009? Mine are the following:
Lets start off with pull ups. Would like to get 10 or more pull ups in a row. Going chest to bar in all workouts would be a little too ambitious maybe for 2010.
- Do double unders more efficient - Get a hand stand pushup - increase my cardio - max deadlift 400lb - get my chubby ass down to anywhere from 180lb - 190lbs.
These are just a few to begin with. Don't have too much room for more.
Alright, I see that your goals are actually quite similar, and they all seem pretty reasonable.
Double unders - we work on these before each workout. You can also buy a jump rope if you don't already have one and do them at home.
Pull ups - we do these every day. We can do more...
Cardio - this will improve with each workout, we just need to push it further than you would on your own. Your diet plays a big part in this as well.
Diet - much of this is done on your own, so you have to hold yourself accountable and set realistic goals that you can reach (dessert only 2 times/week, pizza only once/week, etc.) I think it may be hard to jump right into a strict zone diet, but that should be your ultimate goal. Wean yourself down to it. We can also increase the recipe sharing for good eating ideas - ERIC!
Strength - show up and work out as hard as you can, and you will get stronger! Incorporate and follow a good diet and you will get even stronger! Eric, you can already do a CFT of 400#. Without testing, you're probably around 500#, but we'll get one done soon so you have a new goal to reach. And Norberto, by the looks of your photo there, you're not too far from deadlifting 400#.
Jason, great points. I guess one of my more important goals should be to get mentally stronger to be able to push myself more on every workout. There's definately room to do that. Eric, good goals, especially the running I need to see where I stand on that.

Good deal Norberto! I've been thinking about 2009 goals as well. These are some of the things I'll put on my list:
- Master the double under
- Do 21 unbroken kipping pull ups
- Run a 5K under 30 minutes
- Do at least two named WoDs as Rx'd
- CFT 400+
- 10% BF
Maybe that's enough to get Jason to chime in telling me I'm sandbagging again :)
And Jason, please install mirrors so we can check if George and Dara are smiling, cuz I'm starting to not trust you...
