This is a good exercise you can do at home. Take
a book bag or small tote bag and fill it with books
wrapped in clothes. Aim for a spot 8 to 10 feet
up and repeat up to 150 times. Just make sure
you do this in a garage or a basement!

So my my brother and I get a 5k for the WOD at El Paso yesterday. The coach explains the route ahead of time and tells us "this is a knarly run". We're thinking how bad can it be? Well as we make the second turn out on the streets we go straight up a mountain. Oh my goodness. Half of our run was up a damn mountain. It was probably my hardest run I have ever done.
To make things worse for ourselves, we take an incorrect, extended route. Instead of doing a 5k we end up running 5 miles, 2 1/2 of them up hill. We started 3rd and 4th in the pack and of course finished last at 56 and 57 minutes.
After all the crap we've been eating this week we deserve it.
Just got done doing Angie at Crossfit El Paso. PR 31:24. Went down from 40:34 back on October 29th. Very exciting. Of course tore the hands again but worth it.
My diet has pretty much been non-existent as well over the last week. I'm glad to see that you and your bro are sticking to the workouts, though. Nice job on the PR with Angie. 9 minutes is a HUGE difference.
