Tuesday 090728

With a continuously running clock do one 135 pound Clean and Jerk the first minute, two 135 pound Clean and Jerks the second minute, three 135 pound Clean and Jerks the third minute... continuing as long as you are able.

Use as many sets each minute as needed.

Post number of minutes completed to comments.

Compare to 090102.

I've got an alternate WOD for those of you (myself included) who's hands look and feel like they were beaten with meat tenderizer.

Anyone up for a destination WOD this Saturday? I was thinking we could go to the track at the Lake Park High School just down the road, if allowed. Let me know if you'd be interested and what time works better - in the morning (10ish) or afternoon (2ish). If its a go, bring all your friends, neighbors, co-workers, etc. for a free workout. I'll be offering some good incentives to join.

I did this one back in October. I would like another crack at it. I had 6 + 2 reps on the 7th minute. I need to get me a "W" this week. My hands are fine.

I'd like to beat the crap out of "Cindy" since she thinks I chickened out yesterday.

I dont care what we do today. But my hands are hurting though. I started the ZONE DIET today. We will see how that goes.

JJ, you know the Zone Diet requires you to eat A vegetable or two. Oh and hot cheetos is no where on the list of carbs you can eat.

I'l be there, probably @ 5. I will always make time for olympic lifts. I am gonna try it to do as rx'd for women, 95 lbs, won't be able to do many reps but that's ok.

Just wondering why my picture didn't show up.

No food is "off-limits" on the zone. It's only concerned with quantity. Yes some foods are more "favorable" than others according to Big Bad Barry Sears, but any food is "allowed" in the diet. When it comes to carbs, the more "favorable" the food, the larger the amount you can (and have to) eat. If you're eating celery or spinach or broccoli, you can count on eating lunch for a good 30-45 minutes because you gotta eat a S-load of that S. If you're eating vending machine food, you won't get to eat nearly as much and won't get all the other good S that fruits and vegetables provide. But if you wanted to, you can still be in/on "the zone" and eat nothing but cheese, cheetos, and butter. But that is certainly not "favorable".

Thank you John for clarifying that. JJ, what he said.
