Tuesday 090721

Deadlift 1-1-1-1-1-1-1 reps

For those of you not yet comfortable with the heavy lifting, we will couple this movement with another for a nice little WOD that will leave you unable to stand...I'm kidding. You will be able to stand against a wall. Just get your butt in to the gym!


We had a whopping 2 people show up for the Monday 6 AM class - Norberto and Liliana. A few of you had reasons why you couldn't make it, so I expect a better turnout on Wednesday. Norberto felt so good after getting the Filthy Fifty out of the way early, he showed up to the PM class just to heckle the other Olalde's. Great job to everyone for showing up and working through the marathon WOD!

Fantastic turn out for both the 5 and 6pm class yesterday! The 50 was nasty but we all survived! If anyone is interested and if the weather is nice this weekend I will be up on the Boat on Sunday morning if you would like to go out for a ski/wakeboard/tube/sumo suit best to get there early 8am in the morning as boat traffic pick ups around 11 and it gets a little dangerous around that time. If enough people come we can do a BBQ again.

I want to try the 6am. I have to get used to sleeping earlier. I am usually going to bed around 12am, but then wake up when the baby wakes up at like 2a, 4a, 5a....so it might be hard.

I am turning my lights off at 9pm tonight and then I will be there Wednesday morning.

Hey, Jason...Yesterday's WOD was a 5K run. I wouldn't mind doing a 5000m row to substitute the run.

Forgot to add that there are free wakeboard lessons at the marina just north of mine every Wednesday night if anyone is interested. Starting around 5pm onward. I will be up there around 5-5:30 on Wednesday if you want to join me

Liliana and I will be doing the 5k run tonight around the neighborhood. Going to see by how much I smoke her today.

Screwed up the distance so according to this MapMyRun gps I only did 4.71k in 27:02. I believe it. I wouldn't have beaten my previous time. Still felt good though.
