"DT"

Five rounds for time of:
155 pound Deadlift, 12 reps
155 pound Hang power clean, 9 reps
155 pound Push jerk, 6 reps

Compare to 090414.

I've got an alternate WOD for those of you who did yesterday's workout and are looking for something a bit different. Otherwise, most everyone could use some extra practice, so grab a bar and lift!

I never would have thought that I would be able to clear 44-3/4 inches! No doubt in my mind it wouldn't have happened without CrossFit. The Olympic lifts play a huge role when it comes to explosion, that's why they're just as important as the other movements we practice. Don't shy away from certain WODs because you think they're too challenging or not specific to your physical needs. We can and will scale any movement so that you can learn it and perform it properly. They all play a part in our quest for elite fitness.

Okay, the post is a bit cheezy, I admit. But I hadn't put in a serious pep talk in a while. I'll be the first call me out on my sissy jump down from the box! Oh yeah, John cleared it as well, we just didn't get it on video. How's that for props?

Damn whitemen can jump. Yeah I was wondering what was up with the climbing down the box deal. It looks like you might have gotten scared being up so high. Kind of like a pussy cat climbing a tree and not bein able to get down cause its too high and didn't realize how high it was climbing.

Nice ups! Can you grab a 10 ft rim?! I subbed todays WOD with a 8 mile trail ride on the mountain bike. I took a few spills, got some bruises and cuts, but overall it was an awesome workout. It was nice to get out of the gym for a bit.
