Wednesday 090805

Three rounds for time of:
Row 500 meters
21 Burpees
Run 400 meters

Compare to 090411.

We'll probably run into some time constraints today due to the rowing, so we may be forced to use a substitution exercise. But don't worry, we've got plenty of space for everyone's favorite - burpees!

Does this photo seem a bit odd to you? It took me a while to figure it out, but then I realized there is not a single Olalde in it!

What? We must be falling behind on this months enrollment. We'll work on that.

No Olalde that is hilarious. At the end of this week I complete one month at crossfit and I have to say that I feel the best I have in many years. I just wanted to thank all of you guys for the motivation. A big thanks to John and Jason for staying on my ass during work outs. And thanks to Peewee (Norberto) to introducing me to crossfit.

I did 20:09 today. Hammy is still bothering me so the 400m part was a little slower than normal.

Crossfit is a legal addiction.

It's cheaper than most other addictions too. Legal or illegal. Although I'm having a tough time with the term "legal addiction".... Is huffing spraypaint or shoe polish a "legal addiction"? The huffing part is definitely illegal (NRS 454.346), but there are plenty of legal chemicals to which one may become addicted. Either way, I still think CrossFit is cheaper. Even if you are using a poor quality inhalant, all those brown paper bags add up quickly, assuming you're huffing at least a modest 5-7 times per day... and you're not re-using bags.... only scumbags do that.

You're welcome, JJ.
