Who's interested in doing an outside WOD this Saturday? Given that it's supposed to be in the 70's and it's a main site rest day, I think it's the perfect time for one. I say we all meet around 10:00 AM at the park off Roselle Road and Devon (I think those are the right streets - I'll verify today). We can break up the WOD into as many groups as needed. Let me know what you think.

Action Andre, it was me honking at you last night on my way to the Airport! Sorry I missed last night I did swing by at 6:30 but doors were locked! Jason, you must have been out on a walk with Kaiser!
I am addicted to exclamation points lately!!!!
I think it's a grand idea.
I'm pretty excited for today, even though I'll probably contemplate quitting crossfit by box jump #28.
I'm in for a stroll in the park on Saturday. I think the park is call Turner Pond.
There's no way I could do no Filthy Fifty today. My little legs need a rest.
This is the first WOD that actually made me want to throw up back in October. Good Luck, everyone
The hotel here in Anchorage does not have the equipment to support a filthy 50...that's too bad!!! I think I might just do a variation of Fran.
Anchorage? Just go kill a kodiak and clean&jerk the corpse... 5 rounds for time. Then have yourself a nice paleo-friendly meal. Hope you brought your scale so you don't fall out of the zone. Estimating protein blocks with bear meat is way difficult.
If anyone's interested we will be playing our first softball game of the season under the temporary Crossfit Roselle name, Crossfit Sub-Side. Our game is tonight at 7:30pm at the Roselle Park District on Bryn Mawr. We'll be representing Crossfit Roselle.
Oh man! I want to play! I'll have to see what time work and stuff ends... anyhow, I think outdoors on Saturday sounds great. I might not get there until like 10:15, though... we shall see.

A little more about my visit to Crossfit Oakland yesterday.
One of the things they do a little differently is the warm up. It really did the trick.
- Roll out joints
- Samson stretch
- Roll ups (roll up into a leg stretch)
- Cat Camel (they call it Cat Cow)
- Good mornings
- Walking lunges
- Military walk
- Ring dips
- Air squats
- Kettlebell swings
- Dumbell cleans
- 250M row
They also had a posted daily cash out (post workout exercises), which I didn't do. I don't recall exactly what they were for yesterday.
I won't be able to make it for Saturday. See you all next week.
Unfortunately Jessica its a men's league but your welcome to come watch
Man softball is awesome! I couldnt make this game but I'll try for next one for sure! Keep us posted! :D
Did the daily WoD at Crossfit One World tonight. Thanks Cheryl for coaching. Warm up was
- 1000M row
- Walking lunges, approx. 150'
- Samson, and lower body stretches
WoD was:
5 rounds
400M run
25 box jumps 24"
Modified to 18", completed in 21:54.
It's a nice facility. 6000 sq. ft. with locker rooms and showers. Half the space is dedicated to martial arts (Krav Maga.)
22:02. Would have been close to breaking 20 if it weren't for the DU's at the end. Terrible.
