I've been following the Zone diet for the most part since I started Crossfit in July of last year. It has completely changed my old bad eating habbits. I feel it is a huge part of my WODs. I notice when I'm not in "the Zone" my workouts suffer. My weekends are tough as far as staying on the Zone but weekdays are much easier. I recommend it to anyone, Crossfit or not. If anyone has any questions about it let me know. I'm not an expert on it but have some experience with it.
I bought a food weight scale to begin the Zone diet. I attempted to start doing it, but it is hard trying make a list or it takes some work to create your foods. I guess it takes some time to get used to it. At this point, I have been on/off with the Zone Diet
I don't weigh my meat too often anymore, but I do count all my nuts and occasionally calculate blocks on my cel phone's calculator or with an "IF" formula in MS Excel. That way you can weigh it all...pro, carb, and fat. More precise than cups and spoons and eyeballs. Trying to measure 10-15 TBSP of avocado is a joke. Weighing out 100-150 grams is muuuuch easier and leaves less green stuff under your fingernails. But I rely MOSTLY on my eyeballs/stomach these days.
The next topic/debate should be, "Huffing Shoe Polish: Carbs?"

One of their newer members did a WOD of 315# Back Squat 15x and a 500m row.
The wifey asked me to post her 5k time from yesterday. She was very determined to beat me and almost passed out doing it. Liliana's time - 25:04

What was everyone's CFT?
745!
My CFT was horrible, lack of sleep off the Zone all week had to be the bad contributors to that, next time I plan to smash my 665 PR
