Front Squat 5-5-5-5-5 reps

Post loads to comments.

Chicago Marathon, 081012. I ran a PR of 3:34:59, about 5 minutes faster than my previous best. I think that CrossFit played the biggest part in my improvement. A few other runners (not CrossFitters) I know were not able to keep pace because of the heat. We were all shooting for 3:30 times, but they fell back to the late 3:40's and even 3:50's.

Isn't that about an 8 min mile? That's awesome. I'm ready to run. I'll start with the Shamrock Shuffle.

I'm ready for today's squating.

Hey, Albert....Thanks for coming to yesterday's workout. That was the best workout/experience I've ever had at CrossFit! I hope you had an Angry Double Whopper after all those strict pullups

Yeah congrats on the time. I remember that day being hot and just wishing Liliana could hurry up so we can go home. It was too hot outside.

Albert, yeah that was some funny stuff. We really put Jason to a coaching test.

Jason said you guys had a good laugh last night...hopefully he improvised well and gave you a good workout!

I did a modified version of todays workout. I did 30 minutes on the stairmaster and every five minutes I would go do my front squat. I ended up doing 135, 155, 155, 155, 155. Not a lot of weight, but it was tough. After I did 5 minutes of work on the speed rope.

Yeah it was hilarious.

Thats still some good weight considering the extras you threw in.

I had never heard of the angry whopper before Albert. I crack up just thinking about it! Yesterday was the funniest moment yet in my early crossfit training days.
I did today's WOD at 135, 185, 195, 185, 185. I could have gone heavier if my wrists didn't feel like they were going to break. I followed with a Tabata row, 1061m.
